Non Profit Deconstruction

ACT Recycling is proud to team up with the non-profit company Building Value to present a while new dynamic to “green” demolition. Building Value is an Easter Seals affiliate putting disadvantaged and unemployed people to work by completely deconstructing a structure, board by board. All materials are salvaged and sent back to an outlet store to be sold at discounted prices. Once all salvageable material has been removed, ACT Recycling mobilizes on site and recycles the concrete, asphalt, broken wood and any other remaining materials.

Most often, tax deductions from salvaging material will more than offset the cost of deconstruction. By choosing deconstruction, you will aid in providing a job to disadvantaged and unemployed individuals and your structure will live on as it is reused elsewhere in the local community.

Salvaged / Recycled Products

304 (2” minus) crushed concrete - $8 per ton
304 (2” minus) crushed asphalt - $10 per ton
Alternative Road Base (2” minus from demolition brick, block and concrete) - $4 per ton
Boiler Fuel (3” minus ground demolition wood) - $15 per yard
Structural Steel (I-beams, tubing, tanks, piping and other steel) - $0.35 per pound

*Deliver available for an additional fee. Delivery fees based on mileage.
